50-100kbps... mine is pretty slow given my average dl speed is 300kbps.

Using IDM I can pull round 100kB/s - 200kB/s
My http speeds are capped at 250kB/s anyways lol so I'm pretty much almost maxing it

I got 30kb/s average speed.With IDM it ranges from 15-40 kb/s.
I tryed to set one connection for one download but then it can't reach to my maximum download speed.If i download two file at a time from here IDM can't reach upto my maximum speed (together) .So i prefer to download one file at a time useing IDM with two connection.

Can anyone tell me how to set download sequence in IDM? I want to set links in the que but want to download one by one.It will be great if IDM can do it alone.Is it possible with IDM?

Yeah it's very possible via IDM

ctrl+click and select all the files that you want to download, right click and select add to main download queue. You'll notice a yellow box after the filename in another column if that's done correctly.

Now goto Scheduler tab and set the number of downloads to 1. Other settings depend on you, like shutdown after download is complete, or disconnect after the job is done etc.

Once the max number of downloads is set to 1(in your case when downloading from rapidgen), Hit Start Queue button.

Im getting 45-60 KB/s which is my normal for me..

Around 100-170kb's with the internet connection I'm using, which is really really good mind you, I also seem to be stuck with downloading only 2 files at a time

Around 220KB/s with a 2mbit connection using IDM, but it fluctuates a lot between 170-220KB/s.
Sometimes it just stops....and starts again, dunno why ?

I used to download at 200-220 KBps....but it has been more than a month since I am getting a download speed of only 50-70 KBps....wonder what happened....I download rarely from rapidgen now....

we've got rid of slowish servers and replaced them with new ones, we should be fast as we hardly receive any complaints about slow downloads...
